EarWax Removal in your own home
Catching hearing issues as early as possible is highly advisable and often hearing loss can be a simple matter of earwax build up.
We all know that you shouldn't insert anything in your year as this can damage the ear canal and actually add to the wax build up as you are pushing the wax deeper. The only solution is professional ear wax removal followed up by good aftercare.
At Hear Clear at Home, after your consultation if we find that there is wax to remove we can handle it straight away by different methods.
Water Irrigation
Often known as syringing, water irrigation is a safe and effective method of clearing earwax using warm liquid which also cleans the ears at the same time. Every situation is different but generally this takes around 30 minutes to complete.
Micro Suction
Think of this as a miniature vacuum cleaner which gently removes the earwax and takes around 5 minutes to complete. We also use a digital Otoscope so you can see what I'm seeing in your ear on the computer screen.
The cost for one ear is £30 and if the second ear requires wax removal it's an additional £10 which we believe is a small cost for better hearing and healthy ears. All consultations are carried out in your own home for your convenience.
All treatments are followed up by aftercare advice to get the best out of your treatment.
